These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of store.santosmods.dev (the "Store") and any products, files, downloads, services, accounts, or content provided by SantosMods ("SantosMods", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing the Store, creating an account, signing in through Discord or GitHub, purchasing or downloading a product, or otherwise using a SantosMods product or service, you agree to these Terms and any applicable product-specific license.

If you do not agree to these Terms or the applicable license for a product, you must not purchase, download, install, access, or use that product.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction or have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Store and our products complies with laws applicable to you.

2. Accounts

Certain Store functionality may require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any Discord, GitHub, email, or other account used to authenticate with the Store.

You agree not to:

• Access another person's Store account without authorization.
• Sell, transfer, or intentionally provide unauthorized access to your Store account.
• Use automated systems to abuse authentication, checkout, download, or other Store functionality.
• Attempt to bypass account, security, payment, download, or licensing controls.
• Provide deliberately false information for fraudulent purposes.

You must notify SantosMods if you reasonably believe your Store account has been compromised.

3. Discord and GitHub Authentication

The Store may allow you to sign in using supported third-party providers including Discord and GitHub.

Use of those services remains subject to their respective terms and policies. SantosMods is not responsible for outages, account restrictions, authentication failures, or other actions taken by Discord or GitHub.

Losing access to a third-party account does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Where reasonably possible, SantosMods support may assist with account recovery or ownership verification.

4. Purchases

Products offered through the Store may include digital maps, FiveM resources, scripts, configuration files, downloadable assets, updates, or other digital content.

Prices and available products may change at any time before purchase.

A purchase gives you the rights stated in the license applicable to that product. A purchase does not automatically transfer copyright, trademark rights, authorship, or ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.

5. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment processor made available through the Store.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the displayed purchase amount, including applicable taxes or fees where required.

You must not:

• Use stolen or unauthorized payment information.
• Make fraudulent purchases.
• Intentionally initiate fraudulent chargebacks.
• Misrepresent transactions to a financial institution or payment provider.

6. Digital Product Delivery

Digital products are generally delivered through the Store after successful payment, through account access, downloadable files, external delivery mechanisms, or other methods stated on the applicable product page.

Delivery may occasionally be delayed by payment verification, fraud screening, maintenance, third-party outages, or technical problems.

If a completed purchase is not delivered correctly, you should contact SantosMods support before initiating a payment dispute so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

7. Product Licenses

SantosMods products are licensed, not sold outright, except where explicitly stated otherwise.

Different categories of SantosMods products may use different licenses.

The license supplied with a product or expressly identified on its Store page governs your use of that product.

If a product-specific license conflicts with general product-use language in these Terms, the product-specific license controls with respect to use of that product.

8. Mapping Products

Unless SantosMods explicitly states otherwise, SantosMods mapping products are licensed under:

By downloading, installing, modifying, sharing, or otherwise using a SantosMods mapping product, you agree that your use of that mapping product is governed by the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

8.1 Attribution

When attribution is required under the license, appropriate credit must be provided to SantosMods and any other creators or attribution parties identified with the mapping product.

Where reasonably practicable, attribution should identify SantosMods, identify the applicable CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, and indicate whether modifications were made.

8.2 Non-Commercial Use

Mapping products licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 may not be used primarily for commercial advantage or monetary compensation except where SantosMods separately grants permission or another legal basis permits the use.

If you are unsure whether a proposed commercial activity is permitted, you should obtain permission from SantosMods before proceeding.

8.3 Sharing and Redistribution

The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license permits qualifying non-commercial sharing and redistribution of licensed mapping material subject to the conditions of that license.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights expressly granted to you under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

8.4 Modifications and ShareAlike

If you remix, transform, or build upon a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 mapping product and share the resulting adapted material, the adaptation must be distributed under the same license or another license permitted by CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

You must also indicate that modifications were made where required by the license.

8.5 No Additional Restrictions

You must not impose legal terms or technological measures on CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licensed material that prevent recipients from exercising rights that the Creative Commons license grants to them.

8.6 Separate Commercial Permission

SantosMods may separately offer commercial permission, commercial licenses, private licensing arrangements, commissions, or other permissions for mapping products.

Any such agreement is separate from the standard CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license and applies only according to the terms provided by SantosMods.

9. Scripts and Other Products

SantosMods scripts, software, plugins, integrations, utilities, configuration systems, and other non-mapping products may use licenses different from CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

You are responsible for reviewing the license supplied with each applicable product.

Depending on the applicable script or software license, restrictions may include limitations on:

• Redistribution.
• Resale.
• Commercial use.
• Modification.
• Source-code sharing.
• License sharing.
• Use across multiple servers or organizations.
• Removal of copyright or attribution notices.

These restrictions apply only where stated by the applicable product license.

By downloading, installing, executing, modifying, or otherwise using a script or other SantosMods product, you agree to the license supplied for that product.

10. Third-Party Components

Some products may contain or interact with third-party software, libraries, game assets, frameworks, APIs, or other components.

Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

These Terms do not grant rights that SantosMods does not own or otherwise have authority to license.

11. FiveM and Third-Party Platforms

Some SantosMods products are designed for use with FiveM, Rockstar Games titles, Discord, GitHub, or other third-party platforms.

SantosMods is not affiliated with or endorsed by those third parties unless explicitly stated otherwise.

You are responsible for complying with the rules, licenses, platform policies, and terms applicable to those third-party services.

SantosMods does not guarantee that a third-party platform will continue supporting any particular integration, modification, resource, game build, API, or functionality.

12. Updates

SantosMods may provide updates, patches, compatibility changes, improvements, or new versions of products.

Unless specifically promised as part of a product offering, purchasing a product does not guarantee perpetual updates, development, compatibility work, or support.

We may discontinue development of a product where reasonably necessary.

13. Compatibility

You are responsible for reviewing product requirements before purchase.

Compatibility may depend on factors including:

• FiveM artifacts or game builds.
• Framework versions.
• Third-party dependencies.
• Server configuration.
• Operating systems.
• Other installed resources.
• Updates released by third parties.

A product becoming incompatible because of a third-party change does not automatically mean the original product was defective at the time of purchase.

14. Support

Support may be provided through channels designated by SantosMods.

Support availability, response times, and scope are not guaranteed unless expressly included as part of a paid service or separate agreement.

We may decline support where an issue results from unauthorized modification, unsupported dependencies, piracy, license violations, abusive behavior, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Store itself to:

• Commit fraud.
• Attack, overload, scrape, or disrupt Store infrastructure.
• Bypass authentication or access controls.
• Probe for vulnerabilities without authorization.
• Upload malware or malicious content.
• Impersonate another person.
• Abuse payment systems.
• Interfere with other customers' access.
• Use the Store in violation of applicable law.

16. Intellectual Property

Except for material licensed under Creative Commons or another applicable product license, SantosMods retains all rights, title, and interest in its Store, branding, original content, software, designs, documentation, and other intellectual property to the extent permitted by law.

"SantosMods" and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

17. Copyright Complaints

If you believe material available through the Store infringes your copyright or other rights, contact SantosMods through our official support channels with sufficient information for us to identify and evaluate the material.

18. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the SantosMods Refund Policy in addition to any rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you encounter a legitimate billing or product-delivery problem, we encourage you to contact SantosMods support before submitting a payment dispute.

Fraudulent or intentionally misleading chargebacks may result in restrictions on Store access, subject to applicable law and payment-provider requirements.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising lawful rights available through your financial institution or payment provider.

20. Suspension and Termination

SantosMods may suspend or terminate access to Store services where reasonably necessary because of:

• Fraud.
• Payment abuse.
• Security threats.
• Account compromise.
• Serious violations of these Terms.
• Violations of an applicable product license.
• Legal requirements.

Suspension of a Store account does not alter rights already granted under an irrevocable public license such as CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, provided the user remains in compliance with that license.

21. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Store available, but continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Downtime may occur because of maintenance, security incidents, hosting outages, network problems, third-party failures, software updates, or circumstances outside our control.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Store and SantosMods products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis except where an express warranty is provided.

We do not guarantee that every product will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every environment, or permanently compatible with third-party software.

CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licensed material is additionally subject to the warranty disclaimers contained in that license.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SantosMods will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Store or products.

This may include lost profits, lost data, server downtime, lost revenue, loss of business opportunities, or third-party service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

24. Privacy

Information collected through the Store is handled according to the SantosMods Privacy Policy.

25. Changes to These Terms

SantosMods may update these Terms as our Store, products, services, or legal requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted through the Store with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Changes to these Store Terms do not retroactively alter the terms of an irrevocable Creative Commons license already granted for licensed material.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply based on your jurisdiction.
